Joann's involvement in the business community includes her position as a former member of the Board of Directors of the Suffolk County Women's Business Enterprise Coalition and former Board Member of Enterprising & Professional Women - Long Island, Board Member of Suffolk County Office of Minority Affairs and Image Adviser for Long Island Men's Center and also a member of Brookhaven Business Advisory Council. Joann has also served as Business Etiquette Consultant for Long Island Works Coalition and also has been a speaker at conferences throughout the New York Metro area. All of this experience has been incorporated into the planning and growth of YPI Consultants, LLC.
James Madigan is an Educator at Boards of Cooperative Educational Services. As a teaching professional, his philosophy of self-empowerment through education, directly connects to the core objectives of the programs, courses and seminars offered by YPI Consultants. James has been instrumental in the refinement of each of the educational and enrichment components found in The YPI E.D.G.E. Program.
James holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Long Island University at C.W. Post. He works with students at various stages of skill and proficiency. A specialty of his teaching style involves the incorporation of different instructional methods to facilitate learning on an individual basis, allowing each student to capitalize on their strengths and overcome their challenges. Adhering to his philosophy of teaching for personal empowerment, James has prepared many students for successful auditions, recitals and other performances.
As in music instruction, discipline, practice and workable methodologies are important to obtaining success. James understands how important these principles are to the programs, courses and seminars being offered by YPI Consultants. His work has effectively transferred many of those concepts into applicable tools for our upwardly mobile, career advancing clients.
James (Jim) Nemley, LPBC, CBP, CFLT, CEDP, CMA, CF. For more than 30 years Jim has put entrepreneurs and business owners on the right track to success. As Chief Coach of The Xtra-Ordinary Business Builders, Inc. he believes in motivating, training, educating and getting to those "reticular activators" that shape both behavior and action.
Jim is a Professional Business Coach as well as a Certified Business Planning Trainer, a Certified Financial Literacy Trainer, Certified Marketing Administrator and Certified Facilitator for the Ewing Marion Kaufman Foundation’s FastTrac Programs. He is also a Certified Economic Development Professional. Jim served on the faculty of C.W. Post, Long Island University, as a business planning trainer and Co-Coordinator of Corporate Training. He also served on the business advisory board of the Katharine Gibbs School.
Jim is a radio program host for The Building Your Xtra-Ordinary Business Radio Show which can be heard on www.blogtalkradio.com/Jim-Nemley. He is also a contributor on Verizon’s Fios1’s Money & Main Street television show.
Jim is also an Ordained Minister and is married and has six children.
Wendy Oliveras is a Latina Entrepreneur, published author, columnist, Intellectual Property Legal Search Consultant, Global HR Specialist, and Employability & Vocational Consultant. For the past 32 years, her niche market has been in the legal and intellectual property fields, which she has leveraged to provide her clientele with successful business development expertise. She is Founder and CEO of Oliveras & Company, Inc., a legal search firm specializing in the recruitment of intellectual property attorneys and partners since 2001. She is also the author of "Let's Play SHESS" an inspirational self-help and business related book, which empowers girls and women worldwide through the game of chess. Ms. Oliveras is an Honorary Recipient of Jersey City's 15th Annual 2013 "Women of Action" Award and was President of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) Hudson County Chapter from April 2010 to April 2012. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Human Resources Management and a Post-Masters Certification in Career Development and Planning from The New School in New York City.
